At Clínica Dental Empuriabrava we have already been using CAD/CAM digital technology partially as part of our day-to-day activity. Now our team of professionals can design completely digital workflows thanks to our new intraoral scanner, bringing us fully into the new era of digital dentistry.

This technology uses 3D digital images that allow us to examine patients’ teeth using a small video camera. The system captures 50,000 high-precision 3D images per second that are automatically merged on a computer screen, eliminating the need to use pastes and dental impression trays.

What is Primescan?

Primescan is a 3D digital scanner which, among other uses, allows us to take precise digital impressions of a patient’s teeth for orthodontic treatment, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers and dental implants. Using this technology your dentist can obtain a precise digital image of your teeth very comfortably and in just a few minutes.
